Welcome to the 2026 Diocesan Catholic League Championships & CYM Spring Postseason!
Congratulations to all 950+ varsity level participants who have joined us this spring and the many more parents, coaches, and administrators who make the program possible for the youth locally.
Our four spring sports combine for over 250 years of Catholic athletic programming in the Diocese. The postseason in CYM Sports continues to honor those humble roots, by allowing for one final competition for youth for the spring season and for many, their last opportunities before high school.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How are seedings determined? Our seeding appears incorrect?
- A team(s) seeding may appear off if another program has been placed in a new division, and removed from another for postseason. CYM Sports and representatives utilizes a system that credits a team's wins and loses and is assigned points for those wins. In cases where a team has been moved up or moved down, they are credited for their record differently. (ie. Team A wins 7 games in division and is moved up; they are not assigned the same point totals in new division as other participating teams from regular season)
- This time of the year is a busy time for end of school. Can we adjust game times or locations to accommodate families if they don't work well?
- The CYM Sports program, in communication with Catholic Youth Ministry and Catholic Schools Office, recognizes that this is an exciting time and eventful time of the year. Diocesan CYM Sports Leadership may adjust schedules at leadership's discretion only if they meet the basic requirements necessary.
- 1. Graduation events were disclose by Athletic Association Representatives of the parish or school prior to March 9th deadline.
- 2. Graduation events have been scheduled and can be confirmed by the pastor or principal at the school.
- Unless the basic requirements are met, the game scheduled falls under 10.1.2-1 "All CYM league, playoff, and championship scheduling will take precedence and be played at their scheduled time."
If a game is requested for rescheduling and does not meet the necessary criteria provided above or contained within the CYM Sports Provisional Handbook, the game will be played as scheduled. This is known as the adopted "play or forfeit" standard practice. In year's past, programs have been faced with the choice to forfeit postseason games, including championships. For more details or questions, please see your Athletic Association Representative.
