Welcome to the 2025-2026 Diocesan Catholic League and CYM Sports Championships!

Congratulations to all 530+ varsity level participants who have joined us this season and the many more parents, coaches, and administrators who make the program possible for the youth locally.

Since 1927, the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington has offered competitive basketball for affiliated parishes and schools throughout the region. The postseason in CYM Sports continues to honor those humble roots, by allowing for one final competition for youth for the winter season.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How are seedings determined? Our seeding appears incorrect?
  • A team(s) seeding may appear off if another program has been placed in a new division, and removed from another for postseason. CYM Sports and representatives utilizes a system that credits a team's wins and loses and is assigned points for those wins. In cases where a team has been moved up or moved down, they are credited for their record differently. (ie. Team A wins 7 games in Y and is moved up to C; they are not assigned the same point totals in new division as other participating teams from regular season)
